Obituary Condolences

Jane Dewey Robison, 64, a 34-year resident of Wilmette , died suddenly June 5, 2009. Survived by E. Eric J. Robison II, her husband of 45 years; her son, Eric (Tricia) Robison; her daughter, Jennifer Robison; her brother, Alan (Deloris) Dewey; her sisters, Barbara Rinehart and Betsy (Roger) Boyle; twelve nieces and nephews; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; and her beloved cats, Nutmeg and Sage. Jane was a graduate of Northwestern University and retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield in 2004. She was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Glenview and a 38-year member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Evanston, where she served as president of the St. Elizabeth's Guild, among other volunteer posts. She was also a member of the Skokie Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution where she recently completed a term as Chairwoman of the National Defense Committee and became chapter chaplain, was a dedicated Scouter wife and Scout mom who supported Boy Scout Troop 5 in Wilmette for many years and a certified Reiki master performing healing touch on suffering animals, especially shelter cats. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at St. David's Episcopal Church, 2410 Glenview Rd., Glenview. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062. Arrangements by Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home,
