ALVIN ROSENBLOOM Obituary
Alvin E. Rosenbloom, 90, World War II Veteran and recipient of the Navy Cross and Bronze Star, beloved husband of the late Jeanette, nee Tenner; cherished father of Jim (Linda), Skip (Shirley) and Barry (Vicki) Rosenbloom; adored grandfather of Aaron, Rachel, Sarah, Jessica, Kate (Jordan) Sager, Daniel, Haley and Margie; proud great-grandfather of Milo and Riley; fond brother of the late Mae Spolin and Edith Bresloff; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Service Thursday, 1 p.m., at The Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jewish Federation of Sacramento, 2014 Capitol Ave., Sacramento, CA 95811. Funeral info., 847-256-5700. Dear Rosenblooms,
Walter and I have many fond memories of the times we spent with your parents. They were wonderful, warm, giving, great hosts, fun to be with.
Your father and I joked so often about us being distant relatives. Of course, we were the southern contingent.
He was so proud of his children and grandchildren.
We know know how deeply he will be missed by all.

Barry and Jim:
I was saddened to learn of your Dad's passing. Please acept my sincere condolences. I have very fond memories of him from our days of officing together in the mid 1970's. He was a superb lawyer and , more importantly, a real mensch. May you be comforted by your wonderful memories of him, as well.
