Here in Milwaukee, Irene and John were very close to and with the STAWICKI family. Irene was always a sought after friend and relative, for she was full of life, vigor, ideas and accomplishments. She loved her family, her polish sausage and mushroom picking, among other things.
When Cindy and I visited the Stawicki relatives in Plock, Poland, we met a PRUSHINSKI relative of Irene's who spoke fondly of her. They knew her in Poland.
To our family, Irene was a cherished relative whom we visited in Arizona. Her stories, her graciousness, her love of all and life, will always serve as a great example for.
She was a BLESSING TO US ALL.
We will miss her and pray for her and her family.

My dear Auntie Irene always made me smile. She had a quick wit and an unforgettable laugh. She had a fierce love for her family and never-ending generosity. She made me and everyone else she loved feel special. To all my family in Arizona - remember the happy times with her and hold each other close.

Annie, I am so sorry for your loss. I felt like a little bit of my childhood went with her when you told me of her passing.

My family will sadly miss Busia. We loved spending time with her, hearing her stories, and pretending that she was our grandma too.

Irene's was truly a wonderful life. She was a woman of great strength and love. It's hard to believe we won't have the benefit of her presence. When my daughter Sage married into the family, I was lucky enough to get to know "Busia" and share many experiences of both joy and sorrow over the years. She enriched my own life in many ways. My condolences go out to Ann and Rick and Eric, and the rest of the extended family of relatives and friends who loved Irene.
