Dearest Debbie, Sheila, and Joey,
We were so saddened to read of Mort's passing just yesterday (7/14). We are sorry we missed services for him. Memories of living next door to Mort always brings a smile to our faces! What a good-hearted, wonderful neighbor he was for the two short years we lived next door to your family in Franklin Park. What a great loss you have all suffered. Please know we are thinking of all of you at this time, with much sadness in our hearts. When you can, please contact us so we can reconnect.

You probably don't remember me,I am Nick DeTrana's cousin Suzanne(Rina's daughter). I just heard of Mort's passing and wanted to send my sympathy and condolences to your families. I remember good times with your family at your home in Franklin Park. Mort was always sweet and funny with me, I am sure he was wonderful to his family and will be missed by all who shared his life. Dear Fulmer Family,
I send you my deep sympathy for your loss. Mort was a great friend back in the days when I moved to Franklin Park from Chicago. He was very welcoming and polite - a soft spoken guy. Many years have passed and I will always have fond memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you mourn his passing and pray that God will give you strength. I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Uncle Mort was an incredible man. Both my mom and dad grew up with Mort and they always spoke very highly of him. Dear Fulmer Family,
You don't know me, but I knew Mort. We went to St. Gertrude's Grade School. I will always remember him as being so handsome with his coiffed black hair, as well as quiet and shy. He was immensely proud of and attached to his black leather jacket. But I did befriend him when he finally spoke to me. And I am sure that he must have been the most wonderful spouse, father, friend, brother and uncle.
