It truly was a privilege to have known and shared wonderful family times with you John. I have noted with age as our years grow in number we question the legacy we will leave and the positive impact we hope to have had on family, friends, colleagues and other paths we have crossed. Well John, you have that covered in spades and then some. There is that old comic relief that I recall having seen in the New Yorker a number of years back and it offers a visual scene of a gentleman who went through life living it to the fullest, having achieved much success both professionally and personally, he slides up to the gate of St. Peter glass in hand windswept hair with tie over his shoulder exclaiming as he comes to a stop…”Wow, what a ride”!! Hit’ em long and straight

I am not sure how John would feel about this new technology but he surely believed in always trying something new and not being caught up with the past, "there is nothing more boring then being stuck in the past". So here is to the future John, it is going to be sad not to share it with you but I will cherish the time we had together. Thank you for everything especially for loving us. I love you John, Tracy
