Obituary Condolences

JoAnn Allison, Brentwood, NH, died peacefully at her home on Dec. 11, 2010. Born July 17, 1942 in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Earl and Josephine (Weingart) Fett, Sr. JoAnn was a graduate of St. Mary of Nazareth School of Nursing, Chicago, IL. She went on to obtain her BS and MS in Nursing from NIU, DeKalb, IL. JoAnn spent her entire career in the health care field. She worked as a charge nurse at Rockford Memorial Hospital, instructor at the RMH School of Nursing and as Adjunct Professor at Rockford College. Upon relocation to NH, she continued teaching as a Professor of Nursing at NH Technical College and University of New Hampshire. JoAnn also worked as Director of QA for the VNA of Southern NH and Assistant Director at the NH Board of Nursing. She continued working to retirement as a nurse with Core Physicians in Exeter, NH. She is survived by her husband Malcolm; son, Phillip (Carrie) Allison; daughter, Pam (Micah) Raynowska; five grandchildren, all of Brentwood, NH and brother Earl (Pat) Fett of Rockford, IL. There are no calling hours or services, instead a gathering of close friends and family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in JoAnn's name to Rockingham VNA & Hospice, Inc., 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
