Obituary Condolences

Carleen Vogel Guenther, of Milwaukee, WI, born April 4, 1937, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the age of 75. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Pfister Vogel and Eileen Kelly Vogel and she was the sister of the late Philip Vogel and survived by her three daughters, Andrea (Andy) Mayerson, Julie Guenther and Elena Greeley; and her six grandchildren, Michael, Courtney, Kaitlin and Nicholas Mayerson and Grayson and Carlie Greeley. She attended University School of Milwaukee and graduated from Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC. She was active in her community, volunteering her time and serving on the boards for the Humane Society of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, University School of Milwaukee and Colorado Rocky Mountain School. Service will be held at FOREST HOME CEMETERY-LANDMARK CHAPEL, 2405 W. Forest Home Ave. on May 12, 2012 at 1 p.m., with private Interment to follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society, 4500 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53208 and the University School of Milwaukee, 2100 W.
