Michael Cornelius Dore, age 57, passed way quietly May 18, 2012 at his home in Hollywood Beach, FL. He was born April 15, 1955 in Chicago, IL and is survived by his beloved wife DiAnna (nee Creek) Dore; three brothers, Matthew, Mark, Cornelius; and sister Megan van Eyck; cherished son of Lou Dore (nee Kamper) and Judge Cornelius F. Dore Jr.; and grandson of the late Lila and Cornelius "Red" Dore of Chicago and Ervin and Lillian Kamper of Bellville, IL. He was also the favorite uncle of five nephews and three nieces, Robert, Andrew, and Caroline Van Eyck; Alanna, Samuel, Jack, Peter and Paige Dore. Michael was a wonderful brother and uncle and a great friend to all he touched. He dearly loved his wife DiAnna and was proud of his family. He enjoyed anything outdoors, athletic or nostalgic. Oh yes, he loved his Chicago sports teams. Florida services will be held at Little Flower Church, 1805 Pierce St., Hollywood, FL 33020, Thursday, May 24 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. An additional gathering of friends will take place at the Walkabout Beach Resort and Tiki Hut, 2500 N. Surf Rd., Hollywood, FL 33019, Thursday, May 24 at 6 p.m. Contact Fred Hunter Funeral Services with questions at, 954-989-1550. In Chicago, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., June 16 at Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1131 Douglas Ave., Flossmoor, IL 60422. In lieu of flowers, at either location, a donation to the Cornelius F.
