iconRobert Lee Gill, age 84, Korean War Army Veteran, beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Warmke); loving father of Stephen (Donna), Paul (June), William (Pam), Joseph, Robert and the late Diane; cherished grandfather of Jeffery, Daniel (Amy), Stephanie, Cortnie and Kevin. Recently blessed with his first great grandson, Liam; dear son of the late Lee and Helen Gill; devoted brother of Jerry (Liz) Gill, Mary (Jerry) Lindsted Berger, Mike (Mary) Gill, Peggy (Frank) Zeiger and the late Judy (Jack) Gleason; dearest son-in-law of the late Helen Warmke and brother-in-law of Joe, Larry and Don Warmke; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. In 1971 Bob founded Robert Gill & Company, which flourished by providing service to many institutions throughout the Midwest. His passion for the business is carried on by four of his sons. As a parishioner at St. Julie Billiart Church, Bob served as a faithful usher for 33 years at the 9 o'clock Mass, where he cultivated many friendships while encouraging others to worship as a community. As a long time member of Midlothian Country Club, Bob enjoyed the fellowship of his peers and hosted many memorable events for his family and friends. Bob loved life and his positive attitude was infectious. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations to Marist High School, 4200 W. 115th St. Chicago, would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 P.M.
