Herbert Greaves Obituary
Herbert Layland Greaves Jr., 94, of Westchester, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away May 21, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Betty Ellen, nee Green. Loving father of Ellen, Elizabeth and Susan. Survived also by many well-loved cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Graduate of St. Alban's Preparatory School, Sycamore, IL; Yale University class of '42; WW II veteran, U.S. Navy; Chemical engineer for Standard Oil of Indiana, then Amoco, and an avid golfer. Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15th at Grace Episcopal Church, 120 East First St., Hinsdale, IL 60521. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Greaves' name to Grace Episcopal Church.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
