Heidi Ann Moll Schoedel Obituary
Heidi Ann Moll Schoedel, born August 27, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital on June 27, 2013. Heidi was the beloved wife of Peter Michael Schoedel; loving mother of Kathryn, Rebekah, Thomas, and Joshua; dearest daughter of Hans and Marcia Moll; sister to Debra (Dave) Hunter, Amy (Phil) Kispert and Emily (Kevin) Thomson; aunt to many nieces and nephews. One of the co-founders of Exodus World Service, her faith led her to develop a Christian community to care for refugees coming to the U.S. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Forest Park and a leader in the international Refugee Highway Partnership. Heidi was a brilliant woman with a heart of gold who showed love and compassion to everyone she met. She was a great leader and strategic thinker. The Lord used her in a mighty way to impact thousands for the Kingdom. A Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 305 Circle Drive, Forest Park, Illinois.
