Loving, devoted husband to precious wife of 63 years, Lorrayne Burns Hartnett. Brother of John Hartnett, Burlington, Vermont, deceased. Devoted Father of Teresa (Hartnett) Tario, of Wilmette, Illinois; Dr. Christopher W. Hartnett, of Boone, North Carolina; Daniel J. Hartnett, Esq. of Wilmette, Illinois, and Patrick M. Hartnett of Fullerton, California. Loving Father-in-law to Michael J. Tario; Linda Saint Denis Hartnett; Marina O'Leary Hartnett; Robin Poss Hartnett. Loving, devoted Grandfather to 17 Grandchildren: Kristen, Erin, Sean, Marina, Heather, William, Jennifer, Patrick, Christopher, Deirdre, Elizabeth, Grace, Christine, Madeline, Hayley, Ryan, and Frances and 6 Great Grandchildren: Lana, Tyler, Lucy, Trinity, Lucas, Michael. Nieces Mary Martha, Donna, and Johnette. William F. Hartnett (Bill) developed numerous commercial, residential, and industrial real estate projects in the USA, including such renowned properties as: Lake Point Tower in Chicago, United Nations Plaza in New York, Williams Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Century City in Los Angeles. Bill served as: Served as Officer in the United States Navy 4 years; Attended St. Michael's College, Middlebury College and Cornell University, Graduate of Fordham University School of Law 1949; Practiced law in New York City and Port Washington, L.I.,NY. Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI); Assistant to the Vice Chairman, New York Housing Authority; Counsel to the Board of New York City Board of Higher Education; Elected Westbury/East Meadow School Board President 3 years; Founder of William F. Hartnett and Associates; Founder of Hartnett- Shaw Development Corporation; Developer and Owner of Lake Point Tower, Chicago; Developer of United Nations Plaza, New York; Developer of Portland Center, Portland, Oregon; Developer of Williams Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Developer of State National Bank Plaza, Evanston, Illinois; Developer of Century City, Los Angeles, California; Developer of La Jolla Shores Clubdominium, La Jolla, California.
