Dear Andrea ,
I still think back of the great times I had with Ray and how much I learnt from him . Everybody on the PDL team owed Ray so much. A great generous individual ; a legend in Aus.

Still thinking of my dear friend Ray. Wishing he was still here to share more good times together. I know Ray would be test driving the new 2020 mid engine Corvette. It has a Ferrari look Ray would love. Will never forget the great times we shared together.

To Andrea and all your family,
May you find comfort in knowing how many, many lives Ray touched. Besides being a very successful professional, he was truly a sincere person. There just aren't too many like him. I will always remember the time he took to make others feel comfortable in his presence. Peace to you.

I met Ray 17 years ago when I started working at Ansell. I am grateful that Ray was assigned to the Ansell account. Ray and I became close friends over the years. We got together several times a year and spoke almost weekly over the past 10 years. I had looked forward to getting together with Ray throughout his retirement and spending time with him in FL drinking margaritas... and hanging out. He will be deeply missed. He was such a great person and friend. I will remember Ray forever and miss him dearly. A wonderful man left us all with many great memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Ray for over 15 years, and, like many others, benefited from his exceptional knowledge and professionalism.

On a personal front, Barbara and I enjoyed social engagements with Ray in Australia, and in Chicago with both Andrea and Ray.

He was a very generous man who will be sorely missed.

Andrea, our thoughts and prayers are with you and other family members at this time.

To Ray's family: I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Ray many years ago at Arthur Andersen in Chicago. He was fine professional and man. He will be missed.

What a powerful testimonial to Ray to see how my experiences match so many others above that benefited from his mentoring and guidance. I also worked for him as a staff member at Arthur Andersen on Mark Controls back in the early 80's. It might be easy to say I was hooked by my first Christmas present of Dom Perignon, but the reality is he taught me so much on being a successful professional. He helped me get my start and our relatinoship lasted until his retirement. Ray you will always be in my prayers, rest peacefully.

To the family, the words found in at (John 5:28) are very welcoming, as Jesus spoke them. May your family be comforted too by them.

I've always held very fond memories of Ray while working as a young manager on the Pacific Dunlop account many years ago. Ray was so humble and geniune as a person and very generous. To this day I have the personalised plaque he gave to me and others on the Pacific Dunlop account when Andersen no longer existed. That was very special and exceptional for a guy supporting his team in Australia. He always gave me his time and treated me as an equal. I have often reflected on my experiences with Ray.

Andrea you don't know me but I extend my sincere symthaties to you and your family on the loss. It was an absolute pleasure to know Ray.

Andrea: You know how much we thought of Ray and you. There was such a strong connection there, from having honeymooned at the same resort, albeit in different years, to our love of golf. Okay, so maybe not so much. It was such a privilege to have been able to know and work with Ray. May his memory be a blessing.

I spent about 15 years at AA Chicago and came to know Ray as an extremely talented, client-service oriented manager and then partner. I never worried about Ray getting to the best and correct result. What I did not know until the last few years was that we shared a love of collectible cars, and I enjoyed conversing with him about them. My sincerest condolences to his wife and other family members.

Andrea,
I had the privelege of working for Ray at Arthur Andersen for 8 years. He was a tough boss but always very fair. I learned so much from him that I still use in my professional life today. We did a lot of traveling together to both glamorous and not-so-glamorous places... and he was really a joy to be with. I still remember him turning down a First Class upgrade to sit in the back with me on a long flight. But that was who he was, gracious and generous. I'm so grateful I was able to reconnect with him at a Deloitte event 2 years ago. The world is a little duller without Ray and we lost him all too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ray always did it right! My fondest memory of Ray was when I was a staff at Arthur Andersen and worked on one of Ray's clients. For Christmas, Ray gave each of us a bottle of Dom Perignon. I treasure that bottle and still have it to this day. Ray worked hard but also treated his team well. He will be sorely missed not only by his family but by the AA family!

I worked for Ray at Arthur Andersen. He made such a big impact in my life. To this day I still carry with me lessons learned from him. 20 years later, I still think of him often. He was a very intelligent, hard working and generous man and I feel blessed to have known him. Rest in peace Ray.

Dear Andrea,

I worked closely with Ray for over 20 years at Andersen and Deloitte. He was a wonderful person and a joy to work with. Over the years, we had a lot of laughs as we traveled around the US resolving his clients' cases with IRS. Despite all the numerous IRS matters that I have been involved in, my fondest memories are those when I worked with Ray. My deepest sympathies to you on his passing.

I knew Ray at Arthur Andersen. Ray was one of the most generous people that I have ever met. He had a great heart. He was very loyal to the firm of Andersen. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace. He is in heaven and we will all see him again someday.

There isn't enough time or space to mention all the things I will miss about Ray...but to name a few, the way he treated anyone that had the honor to work with/for him as family, the way he taught me how to see a city (any city in the world) in 6 hours, the way life was always better when he wasn't "driving the bus", to never pass up a clean bathroom, and to make sure those people that are closest and most important to you always know that they are. Ray was taken from us far too soon and I will be forever in his debt and Andrea's for all they have done for me and my family.
