I remember like it was yesterday. Deirdre knocking on my door the moment I brought three day old Mark home -she just had to hold him."If you haven't noticed, I love babies!" She just glowed marvelously. Like Sunshine. One of my favorite memories I've ever had.

Can't tell you how sad we are to hear of Deirdre's passing. She was the first basketball parent we met the year our son, Patrick, played with Peter. She could not have been more gracious in welcoming us to the "basketball" family. We enjoyed her company immensely, and we shall miss seeing her. She truly was a special person. Regrettably, we are unable to attend the services as we are in Los Angeles visiting Pat, but we want the family to know we will be with you in spirit, and shall pray that God receives Deirdre with the open arms.
