Obituary Condolences

Mary Goldstein, nee Isaacson, May 17, 1903 to December 26, 2003. Adored wife of the late Nathan Goldstein; beloved mother of Irma (the late Harold) Spielberg and Melvin (Marylou) Goldstein; devoted grandmother of Sondra (James Neihaus) Spielberg, Ronda (Roman Marak) Scott-Marak, Natalie (Michael) Donovan, Lawrence (Rolla Bedford) Goldstein, Steven Goldstein and stepgreat-grandmother of four; treasured sister of the late Shirley (the late Harold) Deutsch, Rose (the late Edward) Gelt, Adele (the late Aaron) Fryer and Arthur Isaacson; loving daughter of the late Isadore and Johanna Isaacson; cherished aunt of Marilyn (the late Sanford) Schoen, Carol (Bud) Zakin, Joanne (Gerald) Levin, Edrice (Ernest) Bram, Marian (Edward) Lezak, Renee (Eddy) Greenman Harrington, and the late Myron (Linda) Gelt and Joan Weiser and many great-nieces and nephews; dear friend to the legion of people who loved her, especially Rosemarie and Edwin Reinante care givers and dear friends. Yesterday was just another day. We had no idea how special it was to become, for today you have left us to grieve and to remember in tears and in laughter the light you brought to our lives. Everyday, from the moment you left us, will have a hole in its center that only your memory can fill. We are the stuff that you have made us and that hole in our hearts will never be truly empty nor truly filled again. You will live within our hearts and in our minds forever. I see you in my mind's eye at long last running on your own into the arms of your husband and sisters whom you have long missed, of friends who pre-deceased you. You will never be alone. You will always be with them and with me. I know that we will be together someday so neither am I left alone...but you will be sorely missed. Services Tuesday 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. Interment will be at the Kurlander Cemetery, Waldheim (Gate #127). Member of Marks Nathan Hall. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to H.L.D. Chapter of the City of Hope or Jewish War Veterans. Info: Lloyd Mandel Levayah Funerals, 847-679-3939, 888-L-E-V-A-Y-A-H or www.levayah.com.
