James W. Kadlec, 79, of Park Ridge. Proud U.S. Army veteran, Jim held the rank of Major at his discharge from Service. Beloved son of the late Barbara, nee Lidinsky and Thomas J. Kadlec. Loving brother of Dorothy (the late James) Gilmore, Edward (Joan) Kadlec, John (Janice) Kadlec, the late Thomas J. "T.J" (the late Anna Marie) Kadlec, Jr. and the late Rosemary K. Kadlec. Proud uncle, great uncle and cherished friend of many. Jim was a graduate of DePaul University with a degree in Commerce. Forty+ year owner of Skokie Automotive, Niles. Visitation Wednesday from 3 until 9 PM at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. Funeral Thursday 11:00 AM prayers at the funeral home to Saint Juliana Church.
