Joseph Kosala Obituary
Sgt. CPD (retired). EOW 22 March 2015. Age 68. Father of Tammy, Jennifer and Colleen. He was also an actor and appeared in The Fugitive, Under Siege, and many other movies. He was an accomplished martial artist as well as an avid Cubs fan. Veteran of the United States Navy. His friends will gather for a memorial on Sunday 12 April 2015 at 1500 hours at the pond in front of his residence at 3850 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago. Hey Joe. It's 26 May 24, Sunday, 0531 hrs. I just finished watching "The Fugitive" for the umteenth time. You were so Awesome. Again! I just found out a couple years ago during one of the last time I watched it (in the extras) that you Really Were a police officer! Wow. That just blew my mind. But then again, I said to myself, "I'm not surprised...". I just read your obit in one of the Chicago newspapers online about an hour ago. Joe, you were so young! I was so sad. ...But hey. You're in a Happier Place now and I'm sure Father in Heaven has lots of awesome things for you to do. God Bless your Dad's WWII Armored Service. God Bless your Mother's Service. And God Bless your Vietnam Navy Service, Buddy.

Every year here in Australia they air one of the movies that Joe played in and memories of Joe come flooding back. We were so happy to have Joe at our wedding in Chicago in 2013 , he finally got to meet his little Aussie Chat buddy, me. Bobby and I had been chat buddies with Joe in Talk City way before Facebook days. We spent time with Joe along with a few other friends the day after our wedding and he kindly gave me one of his Chicago PD shirts which I will treasure always. Sadly we have lost a lot of our chat buddies from those days along with my adorable Bobby, I'm hoping they have all caught up with each other and are laughing just as hard as we all used to in our chat days. Love and miss you buddy but will see you on the small screen every year.

Hello I'm Robert I know Joe for a long time and I moved and lost touch with him I feel so sorry for his family's lost he was a great friend he used to come to the shell gas station on Peterson Street and I just wanted to really say I am sorry that I lost touch who would have been great seeing him again I would like to know if and where he is so I can visit his grave if anybody could let me know my phone number 708 560-6043 thank you again and I am my condolences to his family and friends God bless him and rest in peace
