Carl and I taught 8th grade CCD at St. John's. I admired him and am saddened at his passing. Unfortunately I didn't learn of the funeral arrangements in time or I would have gone to the Wake to express my condolences in person. He was a good man.

Don,
I was extremely sorry to hear about Carl's passing. From the several times I had been with him, I found to be really nice and pleasant to talk with. Annette and I both found him to be a true gentleman.

I am very sorry to hear Carl's passing. He was a very special client of mine, who was always kind and funny, too. I shall always remember the story he told me when he was in occupied Japan as a soldier. I was a little girl in Japan then.
Strange and interesting how we met later in Chicago. My sincere condolence to Carl's family and friends. May his beautiful soul rest in heaven.
