Stephen Huska Obituary

Stephen J.Huska, 74, passed away on August 4th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.Steve was the beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia, nee Kubow. Loving father of Scott (Sharon) Huska and Jennifer (Michael) Retelle; cherished grandfather to Grant, Jordon, Jack and Samantha. Brother of Robert (Denise) and the late Marty Huska . Stephen was born on August 12th,1940 to the late Stephen and Beatrice Huska of Chicago, IL. He graduated from William Howard Taft High school in Chicago in 1958. Steve attended Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated in 1962..Steve had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He loved his trips to Door County, WI where enjoyed spending time fishing with family and friends. A Celebration of Life service for Steve will be held Monday, August 10th,12:00 pm, at Willow Creek Church, Building B (The Chapel), 67 E. Algonquin Rd., South Barrington, IL 60010. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the www.lesturnerals.org or www.journeycare.org.

I have truly been blessed to have known Steve for over forty years. He was always not only a true gentleman but but a gentle man. His kindness and compassion will always be remebered. Please keep the warmth of Steve's love for all of you in year hearts always. Heaven is an even better place with Steve there.
