Love you Aunt Sophie

My Aunt Sophie was also my father's half sister, the late Eugene Dombski, and he loved her very much. She has two nephews in Tulsa, OK, Larry and Paul Dombski, and one niece, Joan Catlin, We have many fond memories of her - staying with her and Uncle George each summer when we came to Chicago to visit, and our last visit in 2009 when the three of us brought Dad to Chicago to see his sister.
I will miss my phone conversations with her, such a kind and loving aunt. And at the age of 105, she was still so sharp and remembered times from years ago.
Aunt Sophie you are loved and will be missed greatly.

I have nothing but happy memories of my wonderful Aunt Sophie. I remember always going to Chicago on vacation with my family when we were kids and the happy times we had with her and George. Sometimes it still feels like yesterday when us kids would be sleeping or watching TV shows on the back porch of their apartment. Just the feeling of walking up the stairs to that apartment. I always loved spending time there. Sophie was an amazing lady who I had the pleasure of spending time with her last year. For being 104 at the time, she was always still so sharp and would remember things I had even forgotten about. She will always be part of me and I know she is in a happier place back together with George. I love you and will always miss you..Add a message (optional)
