I am truly sorry for your loss, Alan was such a wonderful and caring person, I am just sorry that I didn't talk or see him as much as I would have liked to, He will be missed by all that knew him, His smiled lit up a room and I am so proud that I knew him and to say he was my friend and like a brother to me, I have known him and the Maple family like 40 yrs, Be free to fly with angels, Love and miss you

I was a grade younger than Alan and he was someone I admired in high school. Al and I played golf together in a local men's club over the last 15+ years, once at White Pines and more recently at Klein creek. He grew into a man I held in high respects. Always laughing and insuring anyone he was with was having a good time. He never judged you by your status in life, age, profession or even golf ability. Rather he took the time to know you as a person and wanted nothing but the best for all he interacted with. He truly cared about others more than himself and showed through both his actions and words.
I'll miss my friend.

I am a first cousin to Ron Maple Sr., and I am so deeply saddened by the loss of his son and your husband. He lost his life at such and early age, one would have to assume that the Lord brought him home in heaven so he could avoid the suffering that would likely be expected with his condition.

Alan was the kind of person that anyone would be proud to have as a friend. He loved and cared about everyone. I am happy to have grown up with him and to have so many wonderful childhood memories of him. You will be missed by all, but we will all see you again one day. My prayers are with your family.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. We will always remember Alan fondly.
He had the most beautiful smile.
We have wonderful memories of Alan growing up with our children on Nordic St. Going camping with us, and even giving us one of his dogs puppies.

Al will be dearly missed. He was so loved by so many. Al was a caring and generous friend who always had a kind word. His cheerful disposition and infectious smile lit up the room. He was a beautiful human being.
