Bud and I were very good friends from years and then drifted apart late in our lives. I was posted to London in 1977 by Reuters and Bud came over and spent a week with me in that great city. He was a good news contact when I first met him and a great friend when we both went through divorces together. His boys, Kurt and Ian were great kids and grew into fine young men.

I fear I am late to the affair. I only just learned of Bud's passing today. Bud and I were friends for years when he was a coin dealer and I worked for Reuters as a financial reporter. I first met Bud as a 'source' for financial information and we later became friends as we found many common interests.

Bud and I knew each other years ago, at that time we both made decisions that impacted our lives irrevocably. He was a very smart man, and he clearly reached his life goals.

Bud was a unique, Renaissance man -- always generous with his time and his thoughts. That wonderful smile and hearty laugh will remain in our memories. My condolences to his family.

Knowing Kurt,, Kate ,Ian and Jennifer and hearing about Bud for years I know how much of a hole this leaves in their lives. Also I had the privilege of having a long conversation with Bud at Ian and Jennifer's wedding and found him so interested in what I had to say and listening to stories of his very interesting life. I feel privileged to have known him

I knew Walter's publication, Conscious Community, when it was called Monthly Aspectarian, before I met Walter in person. I moved to Chicago in 2000 and the publication made my new city feel like home; with its help, I quickly connected with people and places that hold meaning for me to this day. 14 years later I was thrilled to meet Walter at his beautiful spiritual campus that he so generously shared for events with Conscious Evolutionaries Chicagoland. This photo makes my heart smile whenever I look at it, so many lightworkers gathered in one place. Walter's light will be missed by all.
