Podesta age 88, (nee Meccia) formerly of Elmwood Park; Beloved wife of the late Larry; Devoted mother of Della (the late Dan) Cunningham and Angela (Dan Sepke) Podesta; Loving grandmother of James (Genny) and Shirleena Cunningham; Dear great grandmother of Tara and Holden; Dear sister of Barbara and Michael Meccia and the late Johanna (the late Neal) Groth; Dear sister in law of Lucille Colletti and Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was the former owner of House of Gene Beauty Salon in River Forest, IL. for 30 years. She was an avid weekend boater at Abbey Yacht Club of Lake Geneva. R.V. camping was another adventure she enjoyed with her family. Ardel will always be remembered as a fun, loving, joyful lady...who loved to shop.
