Sheli Lulkin. Devoted daughter of the late Emile and Judith Lulkin. Dear sister of Sheffee (the late Carol) Lulkin, and Rose (Paul) Feldman. Cherished aunt of Michael (Gila) Feldman, Eiran Feldman (Dr. Julie Goldberg), David Lulkin, Marc (Courtney) Lulkin, and Gabriel Feldman. She will also be missed by her four-legged friends Russell and Romeo. Service Wednesday 10:00 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Shalom. I knew Sheli.... and worked with her for her entire teaching career. I worked with her in the IEA and the CTU. She was the brightest woman I have ever known!

Our condolences to the Lulkin family. I've known Sheli for decades. She was a fighter and you always wanted her on your side! Her dedication to her community was unwavering. I loved her Condobytes blog. I only read about her passing in the Edgewater Historical Society Newsletter published this month. God bless her and all that she did for Edgewater.

This is very sad news. I worked for many years as Sheli's housekeeper until I moved to Florida. Sheli was very, very kind to me and was a very, very good friend. There were many times Sheli would go out of her way to help me. This world has lost a very good person...

I am so sorry to hear of Sheli's passing. I didn't know her long, but she made a strong impression on me. She was a feisty woman, so we got along well! She welcomed me into the Edgewater neighborhood (Colvin House) with tremendous generosity. I wish I'd had an opportunity to get to know her better. My condolences to her family and friends.

My condolences to all of Sheli's family and friends. Sheli was a thoughtful good woman. My first experience with her was at Oconomowoc (OSRUI) for an Emanuel Congregation New Years retreat. I was so impressed with her charming way with children. Then later, Sheli spoke at one of our Sisterhood library teas where she enlightened us about the Edgewater Community. She spoke so beautifully and was so informative. I knew then that this woman was special. As time went on I got to know her better and I always looked forward to seeing her and being with her at Temple. She sat with us at Share Shabbat. And most of all I will remember how thoughtful she was of me by always asking if I had a ride home. A few times she found out that no one was going my way so she insisterd that I get myself into her darling little smart car and she drove me home. We'd always have a wonderful conversation on the way. A caring woman indeed. She was impressive and a real force. A force for good. It is hard to believe that she is gone. And I doubt that she will rest in peace. Wherever she is, she is making sure that things are being run fairly and correctly!!

I was a building rep and she the President of ASCO . Then a special connection happened. We became friends . I will miss her and treasure our friendship forever. My sincerest condolences to her family and all those who luved,admired and respected her.
