To Barbara Barry Corrado, my dearest friend,
My heart is broken to know how deep you are grieving for your loving mom. I loved your mom as if she was mine. Its so difficult to lose a parent let alone our mom's. I feel your pain. Barb, please know you were a great daughter to your parents especially to your mom. She was lucky to have you, a loving daughter and you were lucky to have such a sweet loving mom and I especially thank her for you. What helped me during my time of grief when I lost my mom was to ask God to take my hand and to help me through this unbearable pain of grief and amazingly He did. Barb you gave me the privilege to seeing your mom again in Streamwood for a wonderful lunch you made for all three of us. She enjoyed it. We talked, laughed and reminisced about the days we were in Chicago together. She so proudly showed me photos of her family with smiles surrounding her everyday as well as the pieces of the Berlin Wall she so carefully handed to me to see. I pray for your strength Barb as you grieve for your mom. I love you, my friend, and I am here for you.

Never thought we'd see the day. Such a loving lady of God, true to her husband and her family. Strength in her community, a foundation to her faith. A true mentor of love and servant leadership. May she quickly reap her full rewards in heaven. Rest in Peace, Beautiful Angel.

I remember Pat well from St. Gregory in Chicago where I taught her daughter Janet, and also from our years at St. Ansgar in the 70's. My sympathy to her large and wonderful family. May she reap the reward she so richly deserves for a life well lived and God well served. Peace and comfort to all.
