Donald Burnside

Donald ''Don'' Burnside, age 75, of Three Lakes, WI, died at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003. Don was a longtime summer resident of Three Lakes, WI from Downers Grove, IL. He moved to Three Lakes permanently in 1974. He was an active member of the Three Lakes Lions Club, the American Legion and the Three Lakes Rod & Gun Club. He was also a member of the Union Congregational Church UCC of Three Lakes, WI. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Don is survived by his wife of 55 years, Markie, nee Nordell, Burnside of Three Lakes, WI; daughters, Terry (Jim) Moore of Alpharetta, GA and Susan (Bob) Barbera of Green Bay, WI; son, D. Phillip (Bernadette) Burnside of Sussex, WI; his brother, Pete (Suzette) Burnside of Wilmette, IL; and grandchildren, Piper, Christopher, Robin, Helen, Claire and Jeff. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Three Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2003 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI and one hour prior to services at the church.
