IUKA -- Billy Eugene Felks, Sr., 63, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at his daughter's home in Rienzi. Services will be on Sunday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery.

Fields, Tommy Lee - Wren  
Tommy Lee Fields, 58, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was born to Emma Wilson-Fields and the late William Fields, Sr. on April 12, 1958. He received his education from the Chicago Public Schools and was a self-employed car salesman. Services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove U.M. Church with Rev. Perry Carr and Rev. Gloria McKinney, officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Cemetery, Aberdeen, MS. Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2016 3-6 p.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include his mother, Emma J. Wilson Fields of Okolona, three daughters, Taylor Fields of Okolona, Monique Fields, and Sheree Fields both of Chicago, IL, two sons, Maurice Wallace of Chicago, IL, Michael McIntosh of Memphis, TN, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Carolyn Fields of Amory, Brenda Gilliam (Larry) of Maryland, a brother, David Fields (Carla) of Lithonia, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, William Fields, Sr. and brother, William Fields, Jr.

HOULKA -- Keith Flowers, 21, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at NMMC in Tupelo. Services will be on Sat, April 30, 2016 at 5 p.m. at Pontotoc Second M.B. Church. Visitation will be on 3-5 p.m.Sat, April 30, 2016 at Pontotoc Second M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery.

Floyd, Thomas William - Booneville  
Mr. Thomas William Floyd, 86, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Itawamba County, Mississippi, May 6, 1929, to Thomas Richard and Leona Ellen Newborn Floyd. He worked many years before retirement as an automobile body shop repairman. He was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ and had served in the Mississippi National Guard. He enjoyed gardening, mowing his lawn, riding his golf cart, and eating at Finley's Grocery for breakfast. He loved to read his Bible daily and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Snowdown Church of Christ with Minister Don Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Snowdown Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.at the Snowdown Church of Christ. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by three sons, Steve Floyd (Barbara), Billy Floyd (Peggy), and Mike Floyd {Milinda) all of Snowdown; two daughters, Barbara Tucker of Snowdown and Sharon Lee of Rienzi; one brother, Noonan Floyd (Mattie) of Iuka; one sister Faye Vanderford (James) of Snowdown; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 65 years, Othella Kendrick Floyd, whom he married October 15, 1949; two sons, Donnie Floyd and Wade Floyd; a daughter, Sandra Poteet; his parents; three grandsons, Michael Floyd, Matthew Lee, and Jason Lynn Floyd. Pallbearers will be Doug Floyd, Jeremy Floyd, Jessie Finley, Jason Floyd, Jamie Floyd, and Bobby King. Richard Finley will serve as honorary pallbearer. Fowler O'Connell, Marilyn - Aberdeen  
Marilyn Fowler O'Connell, 66, died Sunday, April 23, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born November 22, 1949 to Herman Lee Fowler and Katie Wilma Neal Fowler. She was a medical assistant to Dr. William Oaks and went on to work for the Corp. of Engineers for 32 years, where she traveled along the Tennesse-Tombigbee Waterway as it was built. She went on to retire at Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa Beach, FL. Services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Rev. Van Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include one son, Andrew Curry Justice, Sr. (Maggie) of Hatley, MS; one brother, Donald Fowler (Ruth) of Aberdeen, MS; two grandsons, Andrew Tray Justice and Andrew Curry Justice, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger Dale Fowler. Roy Franklin Sykes, 62, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1953 to Durley Sykes and Lois Sykes. He worked for Monroe County as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 18 years. Services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Dempsey Rowland, Bro. Robert Moore, and Sonny Clay officiating. Freeman, Edgar Allen - Arlington  
ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Edgar Allen Freeman passed away April 20, 2016, of a brief illness. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Arlington Chapel. Edgar Allen Freeman was born March 23, 1951, in Lee County to Wiley H. Freeman and Dorothy J. Morris. He was a giver from the heart, loved to cook and he enjoyed life. He accepted Christ early on in life and united with Palmetto United Methodist Church, later moving to Dallas where he became a member of the Potter's House of Dallas. As years progressed life took Edgar back to school where he attended Graham Barber College. Edgar was preceded in death by his sister, Toni Westmorland; and his brother, Charles Gill. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Mabel Freeman of Arlington; three sons, Alonzo Freeman and his wife, Shequita of Dallas, Lamon Atterberry of Tupelo, Mississippi and Edgar Freeman Jr. of Dallas; four daughters, Althea Springer and her husband, Timotheous of Atlanta, Georgia, Lawanda Gaston, Mary Gaston and Alisha Rogers of Tupelo, Mississippi; two stepsons, James (Pete) Bowie of Memphis, Tennessee and Jasper Ware of Pontotoc, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Loreko Lester of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Autumn Freeman and Zeleak Freeman of Dallas, Asunda` Springer, of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris and Lauren Atterberry of Tupelo, Mississippi, Peyton Harvey and C.J. Johnson of Tupelo, Mississippi; two great-granddaughters, Jamia, and Layla Lester of Pontotoc, Mississippi; four sisters, Diane Dabbs of Tupelo, Mississippi, Carol Woodard and her husband, Julius, of Greenville, Mississippi, Pastor Kimberly Paul and her husband, Larry, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mary Freeman, of Memphis, Tennessee; four brothers, Richard Freeman, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Sedgwick and his wife, Wendy of Houston, James Ball and his wife, Victoria of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Whitney Freeman of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
