Bullard, Chris - Booneville  
BOONEVILLE – Chris Bullard, 48, died suddenly Saturday, January 24, 2015, at his home. He enjoyed fishing and shooting his guns. He truly loved spending time with his children. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015, at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Chris Moody officating. Burial will be in the Pratts Cemetery. Kesler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Bullard of Booneville; one son, Tyler Bullard; two daughters, Taylor and Teygan Bullard, all of the home; one sister, Revonda Bullard of Wheeler; his mother, Evone Bullard of Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Bullard. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday.

Bullock, Jackie Orman - New Albany  
NEW ALBANY – Jackie Orman Bullock, 63, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice after a short illness. He was born February 17, 1951, to Henderson and Inez Bullock. He was a Mississippi National Guard retiree. He was a veteran, serving two tours in Iraq and one in Bosnia. He attended West Ingomar Apostolic Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bullock; his mother, Inez Bullock of Blue Mountain; one son, Trindy Bullock; two stepsons, Timmy Holston (Christy) and Stephen Holston (Brandy), all of New Albany; one daughter, Tandy Allred (Tommy); one stepdaughter, Patricia Stark (James), both of New Albany; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Meeks (Buddy)of Blue Mountain and Brenda Wooley (James) of Booneville. He was preceded in death by his father, Henderson Bullock. Services will be Friday, January 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Serenity – Simmons Chapel in New Albany. Bro. Cliff Jeter and Bro. Jeff Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, 2601 County Road 601, Booneville (Dry Creek Community). Pallbearers will be rhe military, and honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Jordan, Ronnie Jordan, Bradley Allred, Tyler Stark, James Stark Jr. and Stephen Holston Visitation will be today, January 22, 2015, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

WEST POINT – Alvanell Jeter Christopher, 96, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at her residence in West Point. Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Robinson Chapel. Conn, Horace - Nettleton  
NETTLETON – Horace M. Conn, 84, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at UMMC in Grenada after an extended illness. He was born on January 14, 1931, in Itawamba County to Clabe M. and Willie Maude Harmon Conn. He was a native of Nettleton, was a retired factory worker, and a member of Nettleton Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing at Grenada Lake and being with his family. Services will be at 11a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with the Rev. Larry Davis and the Rev. Jordan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Charlene L. Sullivan Conn of Nettleton; two daughters, Betty Ware (Lance) of Grenada and Kathy Watson of Saltillo; three sons, Donny Conn (Eddie Mae) and Jerry Conn, all of Nettleton, Mickey Conn (Kim) of Eupora; two brothers, Harlton Conn (Marie) of Nettleton and J.C. Conn (Joy) of Horbart, Ind.; nine grandchildren; ten-great grandchilden He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louise Price and Marcelle Neal; one brother, Wayne Conn. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandsons. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cooper, Dorothy - Walnut,  
Funeral services for Dorothy Cooper are set for 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church in Walnut, MS with Bro. Jimmy Rich and Bro. Jesse Cutrer officiating. Burial will be in the Community Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cooper died at her residence on January 21, 2015. She was born on November 27, 1941 in Arkansas to the late Johnny and Retha Carter Johnson. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and her church family. She retired from Chalybeate school as a custodian. She was a member of Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church. Her family said that she was one that "meant what what she said and said what she meant!" Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Cooper; two brothers, Doyan and Genie Johnson; and two sisters Lily Mae Edwards and Velma Lou Cagle. Survivors include two daughters, Della Massengill and husband Jerry Jr. and Sussie Cormell and husband Scott; one sister Thelma Ruth Clark; two grandchildren, Zipper Massengill and Shelby Cormell and a host of friends. Cornelius, Marvin - Ripley  
RIPLEY – Marvin Cornelius, 83, died Monday, January 26,2015, at his home after an extended illness. He was a member of Pauls Chapel Methodist Church. He was a retired auto mechanic.He was the owner of Cornelius Alignment. He drove a school bus for many years. He enjoyed farming and working with his hands. He truly loved his family. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Terry Vuncannon officating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Kesler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gloria Jane Cornelius of Ripley; one son, Lynn Cornelius (Robin) of Ripley; two grandsons, Mike Cornelius (Heather) and Steven Cornelius (Holly), both of Ripley; four great- grandsons, Hunter, Peyton, Cooper and Coy Cornelius; one great-great-grandaughter, Chloe Cornelius; one brother, Franklin ""Buddy"" Cornelius (Jerry) of Rienzi; one sister, Lula Bell Pickens of Southaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Lizzie Cornelius; one brother, Earnest Cornelius; three sisters, Delfa Lee Cornelius, Mary Lizzie Blassingame and Edith Vick. Pallbearers will be Mike, Steven, Hunter and Jimmy Cornelius, Randy Jeter and Justin Vick. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today.
