OXFORD – Ira Thomas Hickinbottom, 78, passed away February 4, 2016, at his home in Oxford. Services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Church in Oxford. Burial will follow in New Hope Church Cemetery in Oxford. Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. Hill, Lonnie - Jackson  
JACKSON – Lonnie Roy Hill, 82, died February 8, 2016, at Magee Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. He was born in Union County on September 22, 1933, to James Charlie Hill and Ida Mae Bigham Hill. He was retired from Mississippi Industry for Blind in Jackson. Mr. Hill was a member of Trinity Gospel Fellowship in Richland, Mississippi. Services will be 2 p.m. today, February 10, 2016, at United Funeral Service with Bro. Rick Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Knowles (Tim) of Jackson, Mississippi; one son, Roy Wayne Hill (Wanda) of Bay St. Louis; one sister, Lola Helen Matthews (Wallace) of Ecru, Mississippi; four grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Charlton Hill; one sister, Louise Hill; seven brothers, Theodore Hill, Ferris Hill, Rayburn Hill, Eurie Hill, Oliver Hill, Lamar Hill and Hugh Leonard Hill. Huddleston, Dianne - Booneville  
BOONEVILLE – Reba Dianne Huddleston, 68, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born November 24, 1947, to Raymond and Decie Black Sappington in New Albany. She was a member of Thrasher Baptist Church, where she loved attending before becoming disabled. Dianne attended school in Booneville and then worked at the local selected service draftboard as a secretary. She also worked at Brown Shoe Company, several furniture factories, and the Booneville School District cafeteria. She married her husband, Larry, on May 16, 1964, and was a loving wife and devoted mother to her four boys. Diane loved animals of all kinds, and she enjoyed bird watching. She spent many hours outside in her beautifully landscaped garden, which she designed. She also did crafts and designed many beautiful Christmas ornaments for her family as long as she was able. Funeral services will be today, February 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Rakestraw officiating and Gary Huddleston delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Huddleston; sons, Glenn Huddleston of Memphis, Tenn., Michael Huddleston (Kim) of Corinth, and Scott Huddleston of Denver, Colo.; brother, Ronny Sappington (Janice) of New Site; sisters, Linda Kilgo of Marietta and Angie Morgan of Booneville; grandchildren, Bradley Huddleston, Bryson Huddleston, Ally Grace Huddleston, Paige Doyle, Luke Braudway; great-grandchildren, Brennen Huddleston and Madilyn ""Madi"" Huddleston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Decie Sappington; son, Kelly Huddleston; and nephew, Chris Sappington. Pallbearers will be Bryson Huddleston, Luke Braudway, Jason Huddleston, Bradley Huddleston, Thomas Deaton, Gary Huddleston, and Jeff Johnson. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38801. Condolences may be made to booonevillefuneralhome.net.
