1946 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
MYRTLE – Pearlie Mae Rhynes Hechler, 68, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Union County. She was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Lafayette County to L.J. Rhynes Sr. and Delta M. Moody Rhynes McCullough. She was a paper carrier for the Daily Journal. She was a member of Amaziah Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. today, Jan. 11, at Amaziah Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Howell officiating. Burial will be at Amaziah Cemetery. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, James J. Hechler; five sisters, Peggy Mathis (Otis), Joyce Sims, Mary Fuller (Mac), Ruby Dye and Lillie Aston (Joe); and eight brothers, L.J. Jr., Jim (Diane) and Bob (Fran) Rhynes, Guy (Teresa), David (Betty), James (Evelyn), Jimmy (Sharon) and Wison McCullough.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.
