BILLI SHEA OLIVER Please join family and friends in celebrating the life of Billi Oliver. She was born at Feather River Hospital on April 8, 1996 to Karen and Joe Oliver. She was taken from us at the very tender age of 16 on Oct. 27, 2012 in an auto accident. Billi lived in Magalia her whole life, attending Pines elementary and Mountain Ridge Middle School. She was a junior at Paradise High and was a straight A student nearly her whole life. She was very popular and had many friends as was evident with her titles of Duchess, Princess and Queen of her 6th, 7th and 8th grade class proms. She was also 8th Grade Class President. She was an avid athlete and excelled at anything she attempted. She was very dedicated to being the best and practiced every day of her summers, starting at 6am with 3 hours of swimming, followed by 3 hours of cheerleading. She began Cheerleading at age 6, following in the footsteps of her sisters, but did not really get into it until middle and high school. Her real passion was swimming, beginning at age 7 in competitions, she won many awards through the years, including third at the state level. She was also a successful basketball player and was quickly pulled up to Varsity. Billi loved life, and life was her friends and family. She made friends easily and treated them like family. She had an infectious smile and was always happy. She also loved fishing and snorkeling with her dad, family trips, boating, snowboarding, family games and writing poetry, which she kept to herself. She loved and always counted on her mom, her rock, coaching and chauffeuring her and her friends through life and activities. She is survived by her grandmother, Vicky Oliver; her mom and dad, Karen and Joe Oliver; her older two sisters and their spouses; Bobbi Ryon (Jesse) of Cherokee and Brittani Lee (Brandon) of Magalia; two nieces and two nephews. A Service will be held for Billi at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at CMA Church on Clark Rd. in Paradise. A potluck celebration of life for Billi Oliver and Dustin Lyle will be held at Billie Park immediately following. Donations may be made to the family at Rabo Bank in the name of Billi Oliver.
