HAROLD "HAP" PENN

HAROLD PENN Harold (HAP) Penn, a resident of Paradise, passed away on Nov. 27, 2012. HAP was born and raised in Mill Valley, CA. He graduated from Mount Tamalpais High School in Feb. 1949. He entered the US Air Force in May 1949 and served his country until May 1970. After retiring from the Air Force, he moved full time to Paradise. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Chico State University. After his military service, he chose to help fellow veterans as the Veterans Service Officer for Butte County for several years. He then went on to aid people in need as a Counselor for the Area Agency on Aging. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Penn; his three children, Kenneth Penn of Fairfax, CA, Millie Rowan of Douglasville, GA, and Sean Penn of San Jose, CA. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Raymond Penn of Awahnee, CA. At HAP's request, there will be no memorial service. The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Paradise Hospice, PO Box 2287, Paradise, CA 95967.
