HOWARD NIEL BROWN Howard Neil Brown passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 10, 2013, after a gradual decline in health. Howard was born February 25, 1947 in Oroville, California to Howard and Myrtle Brown, but was raised by his Aunt and Uncle Hazel and Terry De La Cruz in Hamilton City, California. Howard served in the Army
during the Vietnam war
and raised three children, during which time he went to college and obtained his AA degree. With his children raised, Howard moved to Oroville where he met and married his wife Jackie Brown. He loved to fish, garden, play Keno, watch old western movies and spend time with his family. Howard will be remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be truly missed. Howard is survived by his wife Jackie Brown, his daughter Rashell Gutierrez, his sons Terry Brown and Charles Brown, his step daughter Janelle Buteau and step son David Gutierrez, his grandchildren Jordyn Gutierrez, Caleb and Zoe Brown, Jenna and Julia Buteau, and Angelica Gutierrez. His Farewell Service- A family and friends gathering will be held at Riverbend park March Sun the 24th from 12 to 4pm with an Eulogy at 2pm.
