PHYLENE S. KLIGERMAN(1933 - 2012)

PHYLENE S. KLIGERMAN July 29, 1933 - Dec. 30, 2012 Phylene was born to Harry and Alma Dimond in Providence, Rhode Island. She was an accomplished pianist and lived in Germany for a brief time in the early 1950's. Upon her return to the states, she settled in New York and became a top notch office manager. She married Frank (Freddy) Kligerman, who was the love of her life. They moved to New Jersey and then Freddy died suddenly in 1972. Phylene came to Chico, California in 2000. She was an active member of the Chico Havurah. Phylene "The Queen", or "Buga" as she was affectionately known as, was loved and cherished by all the lives she touched. Phylene died surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her children, Glenn (Rene), Lori (Veronica), Randi (Keith), and Andrew (Nancy); grandchildren, Seth, Rachel, Owen, Carina, Jared Frank and Jaelyn. Also surviving are sisters, Bo Bo Bander and Leslee Dimond Symonds. Graveside Services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Saddle Brook, N.J. Memorial Services will be held at the Chico Havurah at a later date. May her memory be a blessing.
