JAMES EDMOND GRAY, JR. James "Jimmy" was born in Tulare, Ca., on August 20, 1949 and he passed away on October 22, 2013 in Chico, Ca, at the age of 64. He is survived by his parents, James Edmond Sr. and Beulah Gray, and sisters, Charlotte Lubold and Donna Gray and brother, Leon Gray; plus his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded In death by his younger brother Kenneth Gray. Jimmy worked for the Ford Motor Company after graduating hlgh school in 1967. In 1969 he joined the Airforce and served as an Airman First Class, Electronic Mechanic. After the Airforce, he attended college where he furthered his studies in Mechanical Engineering. He then worked for World Airlines as a jet mechanic. Later on, he was employed as a dispatcher for Frontier Transportation Trucking Company in San Jose, Ca. Our beloved Jimmy had an inventive curiosity and was interested in space and science. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and was always searching for a better way to do things. He also enjoyed photography and dabbled in art. During the last decade of his life he really loved living in Quincy, Ca. To give back he became involved with the Foster Children's Agency in Quincy, where be generously made regular monetary contributions to help them out. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Brusie Funeral Home In Chico, Ca. on November 23rd at 1:00 pm
