Michael Klobas Obituary
MICHAEL KLOBAS After a valiant battle with cancer, Mike went home to be with our Lord on November 27, 2013. He was born in Paradise on October 3, 1956 to Joseph and Betty Klobas. He was married to Donna Porter Klobas, and they resided in Orland for well over 36 years where they raised their two children, Michaelle Klobas Peacock and Shaun Klobas. He loved fishing, crabbing, hunting, and camping in his 5th wheel and had developed into an excellent cook. He felt so privileged to watch his grandchildren, Brayden and Reese Peacock and Rylan Klobas at least two days each week, even when holding down a full time job. He was known to be a very hard worker, able to fix almost anything and enjoyed a great sense of humor. He is also survived by children, Michael and Brandy Klobas and their children, Drew and Emma Klobas and Kelsey and Tyler Powles; son-in-law, Miles Peacock and daughters-in-law, Jasmine Rich and Rachelle Klobas; five sisters; four brothers; and mother-in-law, Aileen Porter. He was welcomed to heaven by his much loved father-in-law, Bid Porter as well as both parents. A celebration of his life will be held at Bidwell Presbyterian Church on December 20, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Mike's memory may be to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Just for Children In Orland, or Butte Humane Society. Mike's family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. An for being the most compassionate doctor we have ever seen and to Jeanne. You are two in a million!
