MILAN RONALD BILYAK Graveside services for Milan Bilyak will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Veterans Court of Honor at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico. Milan was born in Gary, Indiana on November 21, 1941 to Michael and Anne Elizabeth Bilyak. Milan passed away in Elk Grove, CA on December 31, 2013 at the age of 72. Milan attended Indiana University where he obtained his B.S. Degree in Medical Technology; he also served in the U.S Army where he received a National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle M-14) as Military Honors. Milan later spent his career working between both the Chico Community and Feather River Hospitals. He enjoyed many hobbies Astronomy, the making of telescopes, laboratory science, woodworking, gold mining, shooting and golf he also followed his favorite teams the Chicago Bears and Cubs and like watching soccer. Milan is survived by his son Kevin Thomas Bilyak and daughter Sara Anne Bilyak both of Elk Grove CA, a granddaughter Alexa Suzanne Bilyak also of Elk Grove. Susan Beth Knaver, former wife and his beloved dog Yogi a Lab Chow mix.
