WILLIAM BILL CORBIN Lt Col. William Dean Corbin Sr. "Bill" took his last flight August 7th, 2013. Born 11/2/1920 in Barberton, Ohio to Jugene and Ruth Ina Corbin. Bill was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was married to Sue Anne McKissack Corbin for 66 years. He retired from the Air Force at Beale AFB in 1973 after serving with the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, then making Chico their home. He served his country in our nation's Air Force 32 years spanning, 3 wars, 35 combat missions, with 459 combat flying hours over Japan, India and China. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, along with many other medals and citations. He is survived by his brother Charles Corbin, sisters Betty Haueter and Leulla Just, children Dino Corbin, Nancy Parker, and grand children Phillip Corbin, Christopher Corbin, Thomas Parker, Dijon Parker and Tishika Parker.
