PAULA BRIEM FRYE A Celebration of Life for Paula Briem Frye will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Federated Church of Orland. Paula was born on August 3, 1934 in Sheldon, Illinois, and died on Friday, January 18, 2013, her spirit flying free after a mighty battle against inflammatory breast cancer. Paula loved life, traveling, bowling, coffee, chocolate, working out at Chico Sports Club, parties, taking classes through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, her church and her community. More than anything, she loved her family. She is survived by daughter, Kathy Briem (Billie) of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Karen Dexter (Tim) of Orland, CA; son, Robert Briem (Margaret) of Uniontown, OH; stepdaughter, Terri Dushane of Salt Lake City, UT; stepson, Mike Frye (Theresa) of Colorado Springs, CO. Her blended family includes 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Frye in 2007. A close second to her love of her family was riding on a Harley Davidson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Federated Church of Orland Music Programs, 709 First Street, Orland, CA 95963, or to Enloe Hospice, 249 W. 6th Street, Chico, CA 95926. Paula will be buried on Saturday, February 9, 2013 next to her parents and brother in Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, Illinois.
