BASILIO B. DEANDA Basilio B. DeAnda, age 76, passed away March 30, 2013. Basilio was born Nov. 29, 1936 to Jose G. DeAnda and Arecadia Bejarano in Santa Maria, Calif. He was employed by Pozas Brothers and was part of the Teamsters Union 287. He was involved with boxing as a Santa Clara Police Athletic League Boxing Coach and U.S. Amateur Boxing Northern California Association Trainer. He dedicated his time, effort, knowledge and money to helping the youth learn about boxing, training, and true friendship. He taught his daughter and sons about forgiveness and respect for others. He loved to make others laugh. Basilio was 37 years Professional Commercial Class A all endorsements driver, excellent bowler, humorous and witty conversationalist, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-greatgrandfather, brother and loyal friend. He is survivied by his wife, Mary Grace DeAnda; daughter, Debbie Givler Boehm and ex-husband Bill Givler; sons, Basil DeAnda Jr. and his wife Gigi DeAnda, Chris A. DeAnda and his wife Donna DeAnda; 12 grandchildren - Delilah, Aida, Misty, Rocky, Desiree, Theron, Megan, Wyatt, Danielle, Heather, Hunter, Colton; 16 great grandchildren - Anissa, Andrew, Brayden, Rochelle, Dustin, Kleo, Joseph, Priscilla, Monique, Garrett, Jasmin, Natalie, Emma, Madison, Bentley, and Maddox, two great-great grandchildren Aydihn and Lily. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013, 10 a.m. at Oroville Cemetary followed by a memorial service at Williams Hall at S.P.A. Church, 1180 Robinson St., Oroville, CA.
