WILLIS CLAY GEER Willis Clay Geer, age 66, of Chico, California died on Monday, March 2, 2015 of natural causes. Willis was born in Gillette, Wyoming on March 6, 1948. Willis loved being outdoors and being with his cats. He was an avid runner, loved cooking for his friends and family, and enjoyed visiting his grandchildren. Willis is survived by his wife, LaDona Knigge of Chico; his son, Blaine (Lisa) Geer of Gillette, Wyoming; his daughter, Tracey Geer of Santa Fe, New Mexico; his stepdaughter, Rebekah Burke of Mesa, Arizona; his stepson, Michael Burke of Pleasantville, NY; grandchildren: Joey, Karli, and Lainey Geer all of Gillette, Wyoming and Liliana and Adriana Scott of Santa Fe, New Mexico; great-granddaughter, Emily Geer, of Gillette, Wyoming; half-brother, Jerry (Sonja) Geer, of Gillette, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at Colusa Hall on the Chico State University campus on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
