Sandra Lynn Dye, 59, of Old Town died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties.
She was a nurse at North Florida Regional Hospital for 12 years before retiring because of health reasons. Her passion was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She attended the Harvest Winds Ministry in Cross City.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Benny Dye of Old Town; sons, Benjamin Wayne Dye and Josiah David Dye, both of Old Town; daughters, Thelma Lynn Fox-Okella of Bowling Green, Ky., Katherine Rebekah Robles of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mary Ellen Grace McLaughlin of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Charles Egidius Bechtold, Jr. of Cross City; sister, Deborah Alyce Newman of Bennettsville, S.C. and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, Nathaniel Edward Dye.
Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Carroll officiating. Interment followed at Butler Cemetery in Horseshoe Beach.
Arrangements were under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City.
