Earl Lindsey Rogers(1947 - 2013)

Earl Lindsey Rogers, 65, was born Aug. 28, 1947 in Miami, Okla. to D.L. and Doris Rogers and passed away Aug. 19, 2013 in Chiefland.
He had been a salesman for Scoggins Chevrolet and retired from Levy County School Board, Chiefland Elementary School. Earl was a graduate of Chiefland High School and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Rogers of Chiefland; two sons, David Rogers of Chiefland and Landry Rogers of Baytown, Texas; sister Carolyn R. Langford and nephew Carl Langford, both of Enid, Okla.; two granddaughters; two aunts of Oklahoma and several cousins in Oklahoma and Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father, D.L. Rogers and grandparents of Oklahoma.
Services will be Friday, Aug 23 at 2 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Pastor Gordon Keller officiating. Visitation is one hour prior. The family will hold a private burial.
