Megan Vermont ""Vee"" (Hinson) Hicks

Megan Vermont "Vee" (Hinson) Hicks, 80, of Beverly Hills and formerly of Gulf Hammock, died Jan. 1, 2014 at Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto after a long battle with cancer.
In addition to her husband Philip, she is survived by son, Wallace Gregory (Kelly) Wilkerson of Tampa; daughter Judith (Patricia Marsolais) Gelwix of Dallas, Texas; stepdaughters, Linda Hicks (Jim) Good of The Woodlands, Texas and Kathy Hicks (Patrick) Kittel of Orlando; stepson, Brian (Kay) Hicks of Caledonia, Mich.; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Tessie Virginia Harrison of Geneva; nieces Sue Harrison of Fort Lauderdale and Cindy (Paul Watson) Harrison of Geneva.
Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 3at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, with visitation at 1 p.m. and a service at 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow with burial in the Chiefland Cemetery.
