Obituary

Beatrice Cason, 96, of Chiefland died Dec. 17, 2012.
She was born Dec. 10, 1916 in Chiefland to Marion and Geneva Cannon.
She lived in Chiefland her entire life. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Not a stranger to hard work, she and her husband established their family farm in 1940 where she resided and remained active until her death.
She loved the Lord, her family, cooking, gardening, and her cat, Priscilla.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cason; son-in-law, Bud Neil; grandchildren, Rhonda (Chuck) Cook, Sherry (the late Roger) McElroy, Susan (Mike) Hallman, Kevin (Teri) Cason, Calla Neil, Joe (Donica) Neil; great- grandchildren Kyle (Jamie) Cook, Dustin Cason, Kasidy Cook, Lang Cason and Levi Cason; step-great-grandchildren, Kayla Petty, Kelsey Barber, Kason Petty, Alexis Barber; sister, Grace Jones and brother, G.C. (Jackie) Cannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Call Cason; her son, Ronald Cason; her daughter, Barbara Cason Neil; her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Pastor Chuck Cook officiating. Interment followed at Chiefland Cemetery.
Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Chiefland was in charge of arrangements.
