Ercho Noley Boyette, 88, a lifelong resident of Old Town, died Nov. 17, 2012.
She worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Old Town after 30 years of service. In addition to working at the post office, she also worked as financial secretary at Green's Texaco & Grocery in Old Town for many years.
Survivors include her siblings, Mae Robbie Sims, Brandyon Pridgeon and Sally Corbin; her son, Roy Boyette Sr. of Old Town; grandchildren, Tammy, Greg, Lisa, Donna, Doug, Roy Jr, Frankie and Jeff; 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Franklin and Belle Pridgeon; her husband, A.J. Boyette; her siblings, Annie, Odie, Dave, Clidy, Ruth, Louise and Benny; daughter, Wanda Faye; son, Jack; grandson, Wyndall and great-granddaughters Halie and Hannah Overstreet.
Funeral Services were held Nov 21 at First Baptist Church of Old Town with Pastor Royce Hanshew and Bro. Bobby Lindsey officiating. Burial followed at the Old Town Cemetery.
