John Early Hardee, 95, of Bronson passed away Jan. 9, 2013 with his family by his side.
He was a retired farmer and heavy equipment operator employee with Levy County. Mr. Hardee was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He served in the European Arena, receiving many medals in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Hardee enjoyed gardening and fishing and his family gave him the most enjoyment of life.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Asbell Hardee of Bronson; daughters, Sherry Ann Banda of Bronson and Barbara Jean ( Lewie) Fugate of Williston; son John Wayne (Elisa) Hardee; a sister, Milbra Millican of Live Oak; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were held Jan. 13 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Chiefland with Pastor Glynn Webber and Pastor Billy Philman officiating. Burial followed at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
