Lorene Messick, 77, of Trenton died Thursday, July 6, 2017.
She was born Jan. 5, 1940 in Babson Park to Carmer Cline and Annie Mae Bell Cornett.
Lorene was born and raised in the Dade City/Zephyrhills area and spent most of her life in Naples. She lived in Trenton since 2008. She was a farmer's wife and she loved her family. She was a member of the Fanning Springs Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Franklin David Messick in 2015, and by a son, Arthur David Messick in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Kubacki of Dade City; sons Kenneth Wayne Messick of Gainesville and Joe Randall Messick of Trenton; grandchildren, Anthony Michael Henderson of Camilla, GA and Develyn (Chris) Iannuzzi of North Port, FL; great grandchildren, Daylyn and Major Iannuzzi of North Port, FL.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 15 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street with Pastor David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
