Paul J. Jones, 76, of Williston, died Dec. 13, 2012.
He was born March 18, 1936 in Miami to Lorse and Edna Jones.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Williston.
He moved to Williston 40 years ago from Miami. He worked as the projector manager at the Williston Theater and for the theater in Lake City for many years. He was also the janitor at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle. He enjoyed collecting model trains and was an avid junk collector.
He is survived by his brother Ozzy (Sylvia) Jones, Williston; sister, Belvadan Cartwright, Idabel, Okla.; nieces, Katrina (Nathan) Wade, Leah (John) Rainey, Marva (Donnie) Sumner and Dana Standridge and nephew-in-law, Winston Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Sabrina Lewis.
Funeral services were held Dec. 16 at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle, Williston with Pastors Richard Harding, Brian Morgan and Rob Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the care of Knauff Funeral Home-Williston.
