Obituary

Robert 'Bobby' W. Corlett, 64, of Fanning Springs died Jan. 15, 2014 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland.
He retired after a career as an aircraft parts machinist. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Corlett of Fanning Springs; daughters, Krista (Mike) Jones of Wawaka, Ind., Sandy (Ryan) Beck of Goshen, Ind., Dianna Likens, of North Webster, Ind., Darlene Lockhart, of Tarpon Springs; sons Steve Byrd of Corydon, Ind., David Byrd of Louisville, Ind. and Dennis Byrd of Jeffersonville, Ind.; sister, Pam (Bud) Vajarsky of Port Richey; aunt, Kaye Koubeck of New Port Richey; uncles Frank (Millie) Corlett and Rich (Joann) Corlett, both from Port Richey; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held Jan. 22 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland with Father Joe McDonnell officiating. Interment was at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Chiefland was in charge of arrangements.
